"If there’s a world here in a hundred years, it’s going to be saved by tens of millions of little things. The powers-that-be can break up any big thing they want. They can corrupt it or co-opt it from the inside, or they can attack it from the outside. But what are they going to do about 10 million little things? They break up two of them, and three more like them spring up!"

Lunch with a Nonagenarian

The project:
A midday visit with the girls' great grandmother, and socializing with other residence of the residence.

Time:
3 hours

Why bother?
Great grandma's are special treats, especially these who are quick to giggle, willing to tap dance with cane in hand, and encourage the kids' creations no matter how elementary. We've also become familiar with some of the other residents, and I suspect none of the residents have TOO MUCH company.

Worth it?
Absolutely - what a marvelous day!
